Jessica Alföldi joined the Broad Institute in 2008 Sheis a research scientist in the Broad Institute’s Genome Sequencing and Analysis Program. In this she is at lead role vertebrate genome research projects and manages studies of cancer in dogs
Alföldi has led both the coelacanth and Anolis carolinensis (green anole lizard) genome sequencing projects.

Education:
Ph.D. in the lab of David Page at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) .
The Whitehead Institute of Biomedical Research.
B.Sc.H. in biochemistry at Queen’s University at Kingston in Ontario, Canada.

Some Publications:
An improved canine genome and a comprehensive catalogue of coding genes and non-coding transcripts

A high-resolution map of human evolutionary constraint using 29 mammals.

The genome of the green anole lizard and a comparative analysis with birds and mammals.
