JEE Main Calculator Allowed
Can you tell me if Calculator is allowed in Indian Institutes of Technology Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE) (Main) Examination 2017?

Use of electronic devices like mobile phone, calculator etc are not permitted in Indian Institutes of Technology Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE) (Main) Examination 2017 Materials like log table, book, notebook, etc. also should not be brought into the examination hall. CBSE will conduct JEE Main 2017 on 02/04/2017 in the online mode and on 08/04/2017 and 09/04/2017 in the pen and paper mode for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programmes in NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions etc. The JEE (Main) will also be an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which the candidate has to take if is aspiring for admission to the undergraduate programmes offered by the IITs/ISM Dhanbad. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is responsible for the joint seat allocation for admissions to 92 institutes for the academic year 2017-18. This list includes 22 IITs, ISM, 31 NITs, 20 IIITs and 18 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs). Important Dates 2017 Online application opens on - 01/012/2016 Last date for filling up the application - 02/01/2017 Last date for paying fee - 03/01/2017 The States of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttrakhand, Nagaland, Odisha & some other institutions have joined JEE (Main) system. New in JEE Main 2017: There shall be no weightage for the 12th class marks in calculating the ranks in the JEE (Main) examination, To qualify for the admission in the IITs/NITs/IIITs and such other CFTIs whose admissions are based on the JEE (Advanced)/JEE(Main) ranks, one should have secured minimum 75% marks in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class exam conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST students the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class examination. Aadhaar Card is a must to appear for JEE MAIN 2017. At the time of filling application form of JEE (Main)–2017, one will have to enter their Aadhaar number, name, date of birth & gender which is validated with the UIDAI’s data. If these particulars do not match, the candidates will not be able to fill the application form for JEE (Main)–2017 |
