The University of Miami School of Law and the School of Business Administration offer a joint degree Program In Law And Business .

Applicant must achieve a qualifying score on the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT) and the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) for admission to the respective schools.

The applicant must notify both schools that he or she is applying for the joint J.D./M.B.A. program, and in order to remain in the joint program, the student must meet minimum standards of both the School of Law and the School of Business Administration.


The School of Law and the School of Business each will accept the transfer of six credits from the other’s program.

The J.D. degree requires 88 credits, but students in the joint program are permitted to count six credits earned from the School of Business Administration toward the J.D. degree.
