The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is set up by the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD) to manage and regulate the joint seat allocation for admissions in first year of the B Tech Program. This includes 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 25 IIITs and 28 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs).

JoSAA Eligibility Criteria

One who has appeared in JEE Main 2019 can appear for the seat allocation round.
One who has declared qualified in JEE (Adv) 2019 is also eligible to appear.
The qualified candidates of JEE Main as well as JEE Advanced must have secured 75% in 12th class or must be in top 20 percentile. For the categories such as SC, ST, PwD, the qualifying percentage is 65% (For admission into IITs).

One has to bring the required documents at the allotted reporting centre for verification process.
