Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE) Medical is conducted for providing admissions to MBBS and BDS programmes in the state of Jharkhand.

It is a state level entrance exam conducted by Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) annually for admissions to undergraduate medical programmes in the state.

JCECE Medical Application Form –
Application forms of JCECE Medical 2016 were available online.
It could be obtained in both online and offline mode.
The application fee amount for General category candidate was Rs.1100, whereas, candidates belonging to SC/ST categories had to pay a sum of Rs. 550.
The last date to fill JCECE Medical 2016 application form was June 2, 2016.


JCECE Medical Eligibility
• One must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually
• One belonging to General Category, must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the qualifying examination
• One belonging to SC/ST categories, must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the qualifying examination
Age Limit:
• One must have completed 17 years of age


JCECE Medical Exam Pattern -
JCECE Medical question paper will have 150 multiple choice objective type questions with single correct answer.
Question paper will be in both English and Hindi.
Duration of test will be 3 hours; 1 hour for Biology and 2 hours for Physics and Chemistry.
Syllabus of JCECE Medical will be based on the syllabus notified by the CBSE.
