Departments Offered Computer & Information Technology Department Industrial Electronics Civil Engineering Mechanical Engineering Chemical Engineering Production Technology Electrical Engineering General Science Department Courses Structure Civil Engineering Chemical Engineering Computer Technology Electrical Engineering Electronics & Telecommunication Information Technology Mechanical Engineering Production Technology Duration of the Courses The duration of the full-time Diploma Courses in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Technology, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electronics, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, and Production Technology is three years/six semesters, as prescribed by the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education, Mumbai. The Exam is conducted by the Board of Technical Education, Maharashtra State, Mumbai, at the end of each academic year/semester. Diploma will be awarded by MSBTE, Mumbai. Eligibility for Admission Eligibility criteria for Maharashtra State Candidate and Outside Maharashtra State Candidate for admission to First year of diploma courses in Engineering/ Technology: a) One should be an Indian National and b) One should have passed the SSC (Std.X) exam of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent exam with minimum 35% marks. Admission Process for International Students • The NRI candidates are eligible to apply for admission against the Institute level seats only. The extent to which such NRI candidates shall be admitted is limited to 5% of the sanctioned intake. • The eligibility of the candidates passing the SSC (Std. X) equivalent exam from a school/college/Exam Board situate outside India shall be further decided by the Institute to which the candidate is admitted.
