Jammu University is Approved by NCTE

The University of Jammu, the principal ISO 9001: 2000 guaranteed college in the nation and certify as a four star University by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council was set up in 1969 vide Kashmir and Jammu Universities act taking after bifurcation of the past University of Jammu and Kashmir into two Universities.

Applicants who have/will acquire B.Ed. Degree from the University of Jammu are qualified for Employment in Central Govt. furthermore, different states as conveyed by the NCTE (A statutory body of the Govt. of India) vide its roundabout No. 49/21/2005/NCTE(N&S) Dated May 31, 2007.

The grounds of the University of Jammu is situated in Jammu, the city of sanctuaries and the winter capital of the condition of Jammu and Kashmir. This sanctuary of learning is spread more than two delightful grounds with lavish green yards, tree lined paths, a novel desert flora plant, a natural greenery enclosure and a wonderful wellspring court.

led by the Competent Authority, Jammu and Kashmir Government. Admission to Non-Govt. Schools of Education is made by the University of Jammu through Centralized Admission Committee.
