Detail about the B Ed Course admission details of Jammu University is as follows:

Eligibility:
Applicants who have passed Bachelor Degree in Arts, Science, Social Sciences, Commerce and Management (under 10+2+3 or 10+2+2/10+1+3 pattern), Engineering, Medicine, Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Forestry and Music and Fine Arts from the University of Jammu or any other statutory University in India registered with the Association of Indian Universities and have secured minimum 45% of the aggregate marks in the qualifying examination in case of general category

For SC/ST/ Other Backward Classes (O.B.C.)/ Area Adjoining Actual Line of Control (A.L.C.) /Resident of Backward Area (R.B.A.)/Disabled students the eligibility is 40% in the qualifying examination

However, one sitting B.A. Degree (External Exam) conducted by any University or the Bachelor Degree obtained from the Study Centres in the country is not recognised by this University for the purpose of admission to the B.Ed course

Duration:
B.Ed course is a whole time/full time course of the duration of one academic year
English is the medium of instruction

Medium of exam shall be English and Hindi

On line Admission:
No Non-Govt College of Education other than the MC Khalsa College of Education shall make admission of the students to the B.Ed course on its own except management quota seats

Selection of students for all seats except management quota in B.Ed course in each Non-Govt affiliated college of education shall be made by the university only.
