The Jamia Millia Islamia is a public central university in Delhi. It was established during British rule in 1920.

It became a Central University by an act of the Indian Parliament in 1988.

It is one of the best government colleges in India and among the best engineering colleges in Delhi. The Jamia Milia Osmania University is located in Jamia Nagar , new Delhi.

Every year Entrance tests forms are filled for the various programmes in jamia.Jamia takes its own exam for almost every program course.

But for some program, students are selected on all India basis exam such as B.Tech/B.Arch for which students are selected on the basis of Jee Main marks and for B.D.S. for which NEET score is considered.
