IZA created European Summer School in Labor Economics since 1998.School is supported by Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), the European Economic Association (EEA), the European Association of Labor Economists (EALE), and the European Society for Population Economics (ESPE The main aim of the school is to bring together a large number of Ph.D. students and senior researchers to study new areas in labor economics. School provides students with the opportunity to discuss their own research ideas with established researchers in a relaxed and open atmosphere.
