Hello sir I want to apply for the Recruitment of Constable in Indo-Tibetan Border Police and I am here as I want to know what is the height required for applying for this Post??

Minimum height and chest measurement for all candidates except the categories given below at Sl. No. (ii) & (iii):

Height: 165 cms (Male) | 155 cms (Female)
Chest (form Male): 77 cms (Without expansio) | 82 cms (With expansion)

Minimum height and chest measurement for all candidates falling in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and Candidates belonging to the States of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh and J & K:
Height: 165.5 cms (Male) | 150 cms (Female)
Chest (form Male): 76 cms (Without expansio) | 81 cms (With expansion)

All candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes categories:
Height: 162.5 cms (Male) | 150 cms (Female)
Chest (form Male): 76 cms (Without expansio) | 81 cms (With expansion)
Weight-Corresponding to height and age as per medical standards (for male and female candidates)

Indo-Tibetan Border Police conducts recruitment rallies in different parts of the country for enlisting constables. It is the Group 'C' service of ITBPF. The recruitment of Constable (General Duty) is done by the Staff Selection Commission.

Basic pay: Rs.6, 460-20,200

Eligibility Criteria:
Academic Qualification:
Matriculation or 10th Class pass from a recognized Board/University.

Age Limit :
18 to 23
Relaxation in age
For members of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes - 5 years
Ex-servicemen and demobilized personnel of Armed Forces with not less than 6 months in the Armed Forces - Service rendered in Army, Navy and Air Force plus 03 years

Meritorious Sports persons - Up to 5 years. (10 years for SCs/STs and 8 years for OBCs)

Physical standards :
Height: 170cm & above
Weight: 50kgs(min)
Chest: 80-85 cms
Eye-Sight: 6/6 to 6/9

Method of Selection:
Selection process of the constables in ITBPF consists of :
Height Bar Test
-The candidates will be put through the Height Bar test and qualified candidates will be sent for 5 Km race.

Race (PET)
-After height bar test, the candidates will be subjected to 5 kilometers race to be completed within 24 minutes.
Physical Standard Test (PST)

-Candidates, who are qualified in race, will be screened first for height, chest and weight measurements.

Documentation
-The candidates who qualify in the Physical standard Test will be required to produce all relevant documents, in original only
Biometric verification

-Finger impression in respect of registered candidates will be captured immediately and will be verified on subsequent recruitment tests to avoid impersonation
