Indian School of Mines (ISM) admission to B. Tech Programme for the academic will be based on JEE Advanced 2016, Class 12 Marks and will be done through JoSAA Counselling.

ISM EE EXAM PATTERNS:

There will be 3 parts of multiple choice type questions based on the given syllabus:

Section A: 30 questions and each carrties 1 mark
Section B: 20 questions and each carrties 2 marks
Section C: 10 questions and each carrties 3 marks
Negative marking – 25% weightage

You need to fulfill any one of the two of following criteria for admission to ISM:

Top 20 Percentile candidates:The top 20 merit holder candidates in class 12 can apply directly.
Minimum Marks in Class 12: Candidate must have secured 75% (for GEN or OBC-NCL) or 70% (SC, ST or PwD) of aggregate marks in the Class 12 or equivalent examination.
