ISAT IIST ac Update Registration

Can you give me tentative idea about the important updates of registration of ISAT examination??

IIST conducts ISAT Entrance Exam every year for admissions in the Undergraduate courses. ISAT Entrance Exam will be conducted for admission in the B. Tech. Courses offered by the IIST-Indian Institute of Space Science & Technology.

B.Tech. in Aerospace Engineering: 60 seats
B.Tech. in Avionics: 60 seats
B.Tech. in Physical Sciences: 36 seats


Important Updates:

Online registration for ISAT: First week of November to the last week of December
OBC and GEN category candidates have to submit a Examination Fee for ISATof Rs. 600/- and Rs. 300/- for ST, SC, and PD.
Last date of fee remittance will be around the first week of January
Hall Tickets will be available: First week of March to Second Week of April

But now its good news for all students who want to take admission in IIST, Students have no need to give separate ISAT examination for admission in IIST. Now Admission to B.Tech program in this institute is directly based on JEE (Joint Entrance Examination ) Score card.

ISAT Entrance Exam conducted for admission in the B. Tech. Courses offered by the IIST-Indian Institute of Space Science & Technology

Application form will be available in June, 2015.

IIST gives admission in B.Tech on the basis of JEE Advanced merit

Candidates will have to register through JEE Main and Advanced roll number.

Eligibility:
Candidate must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with at least 70% marks (For SC, ST and PwD 60%)

Candidate must have passed JEE Advanced 2015. Candidate must secure at least 20% marks along at least 5% marks in all the sections.

Relaxation is provided to reserved category.
