Ips ssc
Hello sir I have done my 12th class (Senior Secondary (SSC)) now I want to join Indian Police Service so would you please tell me am I eligible for IPS exam after Senior Secondary (SSC) pass???

To become Indian Police Services Officer you have to clear the IPS (Indian Police Services) exam which is organized by Union public service commission (UPSC) every year. Friend you are not eligible for IPS exam after Senior Secondary (SSC) pass, you must have a Bachelors Degree…… Eligibility: Applicant must have A Bachelors Degree in any discipline from a UGC/AICTE recognized University. Final year appeared/appearing candidates can also apply on provision. Age limit : Age should be minimum of 21 years as on 1st August of the year of examination and must not have attained 30 years of age on that date. The IPS selection process is consist in three way 1)Preliminary exam 2)Main exam 3)Interview. Exam pattern: Paper 1:: 200 marks Paper 2: 200 marks Main examination: Paper Marks 1 Essay type Indian Language Qualifying Paper 300 1 English Qualifying Paper 300 1 General Essay Type Paper 200 2 General Studies Papers 300 4 Optional Subjects Papers 300 Physical requirement Height – Male 165 cm & ST (not the SC/ OBC) – 160 cm Female 150 cm & ST (not SC/ OBC)- 145 cm Chest – Male Minimum 84 cm. Expansion 5 cm. Female Min 79 cm expansion 5 cm. Eye sight – 6/6 or 6/9 distant vision for good eye. 6/12 or 6/9 for worst eye. Near vision J 1 for good eye. J2 for worst eye.
