Can you tell me in detail about the Training Method of Interior Decorator course offered by ICS as I want to take admission in it?

ICS is one of the oldest and largest distance learning institutes in the world. It provides courses and services that are planned to meet the life-long learning needs of the learner.

Training Method

Step One - The Enrolment Process

One has to select the career training program of interests. Then complete the student online application form.

Step Two - Student ID Number

As the enrolment is processed, one will receive a Student ID Number. It is used to access one’s courses online.

Step Three – Begin Studies

Then log in through the ICS Canada website to begin the studies immediately.

Step Four - Getting Help When Needed

The courses are designed so that one can study independently. However, if you have a question or problem about anything in the program one just need to call toll-free instructional support hotline or send an email.

Faculty and instructional advisors are always available to answer the questions from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern time, Monday through Friday.

On weekends and holidays, one can leave a message and the call will be answered the next business day.

Step Five - Taking Examinations

At the end of each lesson, one takes an exam. Exams are taken online for all programs. Some programs offer exams by mail, while some will require exams to be done online.

One can also submit the exams by mail. As one passes the exam, one can go on to the next lesson. Other courses will follow as one complete one’s exams, so that one will always continue moving forward.

The exams and projects will be graded on the following scale:

80-89 B Good
70-79 C Average
65-69 D Passing
Below 65 F Failing

An overall program average of 65% or above is required to graduate and earn the diploma.

Final Step - Graduation

Once you have fulfilled all course obligations, you will receive your diploma from ICS Canada. One can complete the Diploma in few months or 2 years maximum.
