Regional Engineering College, Srinagar has been upgraded to NIT and the
number of seats has been increased from 330 to 632.

Admission to NIT Srinagar is based on AIEEE ranks. The institute has 50%
seats reserved for the domiciled students of the state and remaining 50% for
students coming from rest of India.
