Industrial Training Institute, Sarkhej, Ahmedabad under the Directorate of Employment Training, Gandhinagar was initially set-up in the year of 1979 the intake capacity of 80 seats. The institute has covered 1,514.40 sp.mt including Administrative Block, Workshop and Hostel Building. The institute running since last 27 year. The Objective of this Scheme is to create skilled craftsman.

So far, the training curriculum and syllabus is concerned, it follows
the standards laid down by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) under the guidance of Directorate General of Employment of 28 trade with above 1740 sanctioned seats. Each trade is equipped with Most Modern machineries and equipments, full fledged work-shops, laboratories, training facilities & well trained instructors.
