The Indian Navy is a technology-driven force with its ships, submarines and aircraft fitted with cutting edge equipment. As an Engineer Officer, you will get an opportunity to operate and maintain the Marine Engineering equipment onboard ships/submarines/aircrafts. Qualification: The candidates must possess at least 60% marks in BE/B Tech Degree from recognised university in one of the following streams:- Marine Mechanical Aeronautical Production Metallurgy Control Any other allied discipline Training details: Candidates will be inducted as officers in the rank of Sub Lieutenant and undergo Naval Orientation Course at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala followed by professional training at various Naval Training Establishment /Units/Ships. Opportunities: You would also be afforded an opportunity to pursue higher studies viz. M Tech in premier training institutions of India like IIT, NIT and even institutions abroad.
