Hi I am residing at USA and want to take admission in the Indian Institute Of Technology , Delhi . Is there Reservation policy in Indian Institutes of Technology , Delhi for the admission of the NRI Quota ? Also provide the admission procedure for Foreign Students .

Applications of Foreign Nationals nominated by the Government of India under
scholarship scheme and Foreign Nationals without scholarship shall be
entertained for all the programmes of the Indian Institute of Technology IIT Madras.

Admission Procedure for Foreign Nationals

Admission Criteria

For undergraduate Programmes (B.Tech / Dual Degree):

Foreign Nationals [Foreign passport holder or have either Person of Indian
Origin (PIO) or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) interested in pursuing their
undergraduate studies at IITs i.e. B.Tech. and Dual Degree have to appear
Paper-1 of JEE (Main) conducted by CBSE.

Foreign Nationals interested in pursuing their undergraduate studies at IIT
Madras for 5 years integrated M.A programme have to write Humanities and
Social Sciences Entrance Examination conducted by IIT Madras.

The qualified Foreign Nationals will be given seat on supernumerary basis.

For Postgraduate Programmes:

Qualifying Degree from India (except from IITs) / Abroad and with valid GATE score.

Qualifying Degree from IITs with CGPA is 8.0 and Above.

For M.Sc - 2 yrs-

Qualifying Degree from India / Abroad with valid qualifying rank in Joint Admission Test for M.Sc (JAM).
