The Indian Institute of Science invites applications from the candidates for positions of Assistant Professors and above in all disciplines of interest to the Institute in Science and Engineering.

Eligibility

For the Assistant Professor positions,

Candidates should have Ph.D in relevant area with first class at the preceding degree or equivalent with a very good academic record throughout

Candidates should have three years of post-doctoral research experience (relaxable in exceptional cases), and

Be preferably below 35 years of age

Salary offered

The position of Assistant Professors will be in 15,600-39,100 with minimum pay of 30,000/- with Grade pay 8000/- plus allowances.

The position of Associate Professor will be in 37,400-67,000 with minimum pay of 42,800/- with Grade pay 9500/- plus allowances.

The position of Professor will be in 37,400-67,000 with minimum pay of 48,000/- with Grade pay of 10,500/- plus allowances.
