Indian Institute of Science was founded in 1909, it is a public university for scientific research and higher education and it acquired the status of a Deemed University in 1958.

Eligibility;
Applicants must have either completed II PUC / 12th Standard exam or
Candidate must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects.
