Indian Institute of Science (IISc) offers BS (Bachelor of Science) course as UG Full Time Course for duration of 4 years. Selection to the BS program is done on the basis of marks secured in Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) / IIT Mains/ IIT Advanced/ NEET Exam. IISc BS 2020 Important Dates Start Date of Application First week of February 2020 Last Date of Application Last week of April 2020 KVPY/IIT-JEE (Main) / IIT-JEE (Advanced) Admission Date Within One week of announcement of result KVPY- result announcement Second week of December 2019 KVPY – Interview Last week of January to Last week of February 2020 JEE Main 2020 April Result April 30, 2020 JEE Advanced Result June 8, 2020 Counselling of IISc Third week of June to Last week of July 2020 Start of Orientation Programme Last week of July 2020 Start of Academic Session First week of August 2020 Eligibility Criteria One must have completed the II PUC / 12th Standard in 2019 and those who is expecting to complete the II PUC / 12th Standard in 2020 is eligible to apply. One must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects during their II PUC / 12th Standard. One who has studied Biology, Statistics, Electronics, Computer Science, etc., in addition to Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics is also eligible to apply. One must have secured a first class or 60% or equivalent grade (relaxed to pass class for SC/ST candidates) in the II PUC / 12th Standard exam.
