As per your need here i am sharinf detail of Summer Training Programme : This programme is for the students who have completed their first year M. Sc. in Physics/Geophysics, or final year students of MCA, for a short-term (6-8 weeks) project in the institute during summer. Candidates want to work with Indian Institute of Geomagnetism, Navi Mumbai, the application should be sent to the head of the department/institution to the Director, IIG directly. Any request from the candidates directly or through the IIG staff members will not be considered. I am here by providing you the list of the project 1 Magnetotelluric studies across EGMB and the adjoining Dharwar/Bastar cratons 2 Study of space weather effects on low latitude Ionosphere 3 Establishing three permanent GPS Sites to facilitate the study crustal deformation and low latitude ionospheric tomography 4 Geophysical studies over some seismically active region of NE India By using Magntotelluric Technique (Assam-Gs Project) 5 Establishment of seismological observatories in the shield region 6 Broad Band Seismometer and Long period Magnetotelluric surveys over Laccadive Ridge and Barren Island 7 Study of Crustal Dynamics and Low latitude Ionospheric Tomography by using Permanent and Campaign Mode GPS Networks 8 Satellite Geoid /Gravity Modelling for Lithospheric studies (MR SAC MOP PROJECT) 9 A Study of ELF /ULF Waves and field –aligned current systems by satellite and ground based measurements. 10 Geophysical studies in North eastern region by using magnetotelluric Technique (Mizoram Project) 11 Low latitude Geomagnetic and Ionospheric response to space weather phenomenon 12 Boundary layer waves and ring current Dynamic Dr Satyavir Singh DOS 13 Setting up of multi-parametric Geophysical observatories to be implemented under the Mission Mode project on seismology. 14 Structure and Dynamics of the Ionospheric Irregularities through Radio Becon Scintillations in the Indian Zone 15 Antarctic geomagnetism (storm – substorm relationship) Abbreviations DST - Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
