Hi I want to apply for the Indian Forest Service (IFS)(Main) Examination of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for the recruitment to the various posts so can you please tell me educational qualification required to apply for this exam?

UPSC every year conduct civil service exam and on the behalf of it a secreaming test is conducted by Indian forest officer for selecting candidate for Indian Forest Service

Here I am giving you detail of this exam

Nationality
(a) A citizen of India,

Age Limits:
A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years.

The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable in the follwing cases:

for st / sc refaxation upto maximum of five years.
for OBC upto a maximum of three years.

Date of Birth Certificate
The date of birth accepted by the Commission is that entered in the Matriculation or Secondary School Leaving Certificate

Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in one of the following subject Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology, Agriculture, Forestry, Agriculture Engineering, Forestry Engineering.

Number of attempts:
General candidates: four attempts.
Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates: No restriction.
Other Backward Classes: seven attempts.
