The Union Public Service Commission is authorizes IES Exam Centers each year. For IES Prelims and Mains examination, the centers are released separately.

Preliminary exam was scheduled for January 07, 2018.

While filling in IES Application Form, candidates are required to choose any one exam center for ESE.

The total number of exam centers for IES Prelims is 42.

Commission has rectified the venue for Delhi center candidates (Prelims).

For IES Mains there are 24 centers in total.

Educational qualifications
Candidates must have at least a bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E. / B. Tech) from a recognised university or equivalent. M.Sc. degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communications, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as special subjects also acceptable for certain services / posts only.

2130 years
