Gitam University GAT (GITAM Admission Test) is computer based entrance test conducted for providing admission to students in UG & PG courses in the field of technology and pharmacy. Key dates Offline Application form release 11th November 2017 Online Application Release 17th November 2017 Last date to submit the application 31st March 2018 (Extended) Slot booking starts 5th to 8th April 2018 Hall ticket release 5th April 2018 onwards Exam date 11th to 26th April 2018 Result declaration 30th April 2018 Counselling Call Letter Release 12th May 2018 Counselling begins (B.Tech/B.Arch/B.Pharm) 16th to 19th May 2018 Counselling begins (M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Pharm 3rd week of June 2018 Fee: The application fee was Rs. 600/- for female candidates and Rs. 1000/- for other candidates. The fee payment can be made via online (Net Banking/Debit card/Credit card) or offline (Demand Draft) mode. Eligibility Applicants must have passed the intermediate or equivalent exam in 2018 or 2017 from any recognized board. For admission in B.Tech & B.Arch, students should qualify the above examination with PCM subjects. For B.Tech (Biotechnology) & B.Pharmacy, students must pass the above exam with Mathematics/Biology, Physics & Chemistry subjects Exam Pattern Duration: Exam duration was two hours. Type of Question: Questions was objective type (multiple choice questions). Marking Scheme: 4 marks (for B.Tech) and 3 marks (for M.Tech) is awarded for each correct response. Negative Marking: 1 mark is deducted for each wrong answer. Exam Mode: The exam was organized in online mode. |
