Indian Institute of Technology Delhi was established in the year 1961. It is located at New Delhi, Delhi, India .





The IIT-D campus is divided into four zones:

Faculty and Staff Residential Zone

Student Residential Zone

Student Recreational Area, football stadium, cricket ground, basketball courts, hockey field, lawn tennis courts and swimming pool

Academic Zone that includes libraries and workshops ,department offices, lecture theaters

There are 13 hostels (11 for boys and 2 for girls).
