Are IIT’s , All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Approved ? If yes, how much funding granted to IIT’s by government?

Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) in Inida are autonomous engineering and technology-oriented institutes of higher education. These institute granted status of national importance .

These institutes are approved by AICTE and UGC. Total government funding to IIT’s varies between Rs. 90 crores –1.3 arab (USD 18–26 million) per year for each IIT.
