The Department of Industrial & Management Engineering (IME) at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur provides a two year full time Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. The two year full-time program spreads over a four semester course work. The course work includes compulsory, specialization and elective courses along with special studies in the area of participant's interest.

Specializations offered in MBA include sectorial areas of:
Service Management and Manufacturing Management
functional areas of Operations, Systems, Marketing, and Finance.


Need to Qualify the Exam:

To apply for admission to the MBA program of the Department of Industrial & Management Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur

An candidate must appear for the CAT examination conducted by IIMs.

Eligibility Criteria:

For General and OBC applicants :

a) In CAT more than 85% percentile is required.

b) An candidate should score more than 65% in 10 & 12 examination.


For SC and ST applicants:

a) In CAT more than 75% percentile is required.

b) An candidate should score more than 55% in 10 & 12 examination.
