IITBBS Placement

I am B.Tech Electrical engineering student. I haven’t placed in any company yet. I heard that Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar is going to conduct the campus placement. Is it right information? if yes then tell me about the companies which are Coming at the IITBBS?

The IIT Bhubaneswar Placement Cell, includes the Professor-In-Charge (PIC), faculty coordinators and student representatives, sends invitation to the companies/ organizations along with the relevant information.

The placement office is fully furnished, air conditioned and equipped with computer and internet facilities.

Video conferencing facilities are available if necessary.

Placement 2017-18

Total 130 students from UG received offers.

Undergraduate placement is about 87%.

Highest domestic CTC offered was 39 Lakhs per annum.

M.Tech placements are close to 60%.

M. Sc students from basic sciences was near 100% placements.

Highest number of job offers have been received from core industries.

No. of companies visited are 52.

Average salary is 11.15 Lakh per Annum.

PSUs like ISRO, IOCL, HPCL, NCCBM participated in the campus placements.

MNC companies like Goldman Sachs, Renault Nissan, Samsung R & D, Oracle, Infosys, TCS R & D, Adobe have participated in this year of placements.
