I am a student of the MSC biotechnology at the Indian Institute of technology at Roorkee and my exam are coming near and I am looking for the syllabus of it so will you please tell me from where I can download the syllabus of MSC biotechnology at the Indian Institute of technology at Roorkee? Also tell me when will be the time table updated on the official website of it?

Can you tell me if IITR (Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee) offer M.Sc. Biotechnology Program? Also provide me the Faculty members of the Department?

M.Sc. Biotechnology is a four semester program offered by IITR (Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee) which is prepared with an aim to impart in-depth knowledge of basic biological sciences with a thrust in engineering aspects based on a multidisciplinary approach.

The curriculum covers wide spectrum of subjects like Enzymology, Genetics, Cell Biology, Analytical Biochemistry, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Genetic Engineering, Immunology, Biophysics and Bioinformatics, together with relevant laboratory programs, and a research project leading to a dissertation.

In addition there are provisions of several electives within and outside departments to allow students get an exhaustive training in both biological and technical aspects of this course. sThe program is sponsored by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, which provides a stipend of Rs. 1200/- pm.
