IIT Roorkee For MCA Entrance

Hi I want to do the MCA course from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee so do I need to give an entrance exam if yes then please tell me the details for the entrance exam???

Well the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee is a public university located in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India

IITs and IISc are institutions of national importance and yes they provide the MCA course

But for that you have to clear an MCA Entrance exam and that is the JAM exam

IIT Roorkee also accept this score

JAM Entrance exam Pattern

Questions in each section are of different types as given below :

Section –

A contains a total of 30 Multiple Choice Questions ( MCQ ) carrying one or
two marks each.

Section – B contains a total of 10 Multiple Select Questions ( MSQ ) carrying two marks
each.

Section – C contains a total of 20 Numerical Answer Type ( NAT ) questions carrying
one or two marks each.

In all sections, questions not attempted will result in zero mark. In Section – A ( MCQ ),
wrong answer will result in negative marks.

For all 1 mark questions, 1/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

For all 2 marks questions, 2/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. In Section – B ( MSQ ), there is no negative and no partial marking provisions.

There is no negative marking in Section – C ( NAT ) as well.
