Re: IIT Kharagpur Training Programme

The 3 years EMBA (Executive Master in Business Administration) programme offered by Vinod Gupta School of Management of Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur enables working executives to upgrade their managerial knowledge and skills while continuing to be employed.

It is conducted through regular classes on weekends for the first two years and in company hands on project work for three terms in the third year. It consists of a compulsory set of core subjects and a variety of elective subjects just as in the case of a regular MBA program.

One brings in the wide experiences into the classroom and work on regular individual and group projects. The total quantum of work required to earn the EMBA degree through VGSoM is 95 credits.

Throughout the programme, one practice the concepts learnt in classrooms at workplace. This parallel learning and implementation process forms the basis of the programme.
