Yes there is a large play ground for Cricket at IT Kharagpur. It was established by Lala Lajpat Rai Hall of Residence.

Lala Lajpat Rai Hall of Residence

Christened after the eminent freedom fighter, scholar and educationist, the Lala Lajpat Rai Hall of Residence was founded on March 18, 1967.
