The Department of Industrial and Management Engineering (IME) at IIT Kanpur was one of the first in the country to leverage the analytical education of engineers in the training of management professionals. The program subsequently evolved as a full-fledged department in 1988. Under the aegis of IIT Kanpur, The Information About the MBA Program of the IIT Kanpur is given below

About the MBA Program :


The program is spread over four semesters and a summer term. The course work includes compulsory and elective courses along with a capstone project in the area of participant's interest. Specializations offered in MBA include sectoral areas of Manufacturing Management and Service Management besides the functional areas of Operations, Systems, Marketing, Finance and Human Resource Management.

Overall CAT-2017 score of 85 percentile and above.
65% and above in Class X and Class XII examinations.
B. Tech. or B.E. or B. Arch. (with Mathematics as one of the subjects in Class XII), or four year degree program leading to B. Sc.
