Is IIT JEE The Toughest Exam
Hi I want to know that is it correct that the IIT JEE is one of the toughest exams in India if some one want to d engineering if yes then what makes it so tough???

Hey the IIT Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination is the best engineering institute in the country. Students spend years preparing for this because getting into IITs in India are not easy IIT-JEE is listed as seventh among world's toughest exams. The thing that makes it tough is its acceptance that is out of every 5, 00, 000 students appearing, only a handful of 10,000 get selected every year. So actually the cut-off makes it very difficult to clear it IIT JEE Exam Pattern Examination Pattern of JEE Main 2017 Subject combination for each paper and type of questions in each paper are given in the table below. Course Papers Required Subjects Type of Questions Time Duration B.E or B.Tech and Other UG Courses Paper I Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics Objective type questions with equal weightage to Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics 3 Hours B.Arch or B.Planning (At Institutions other than IITs) Paper II Mathematics – Part I Objective type questions 3 Hours Aptitude Test – Part II Objective type questions Drawing Test – Part III Questions to test Drawing Aptitude Paper I - B.E, B.Tech (Offline and Online Test) One objective type question paper. The paper will consist of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The duration of the paper will be 3 (Three) Hours. The Paper I will be conducted in Computer Based online Test and Paper and Pen offline Test. Paper II - B.Arch, B.Planning (Only Offline Test) The Paper II will have one Question Paper consisting of 3 Parts. Part I Mathematics, Part II Aptitude Test and Part III Drawing Test Part I and Part II are having only Objective type questions. The duration of the paper will be 3 Hours. The Paper II will be conducted only in Paper and Pen offline Test. JEE Main Exam Schedule 2017 Date Paper Mode Subjects Time Duration 02-04-2017 Paper I Offline Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics 9:30 A.M to 12:30 P.M 3 Hours IIT JEE Advanced Exam Pattern and Schedule 2017 The JEE Advanced Exam will have two objective type papers, Paper I and Paper II. Each paper will consist 3 seperate sections on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Duration of each paper will be 3 hours. The questions will be of objective type, designed to test comprehension, reasoning and analytical ability of candidates. |
