The IIT-Jam is a Joint Admission Test For M.Sc (Chemistry) admission. Joint Admission Test for M.Sc An engineering aspirant who has completed his bachelors and is willing to pursue Master degree from India's reputed IIT's Eligibility: Candidate is required to qualify in the corresponding Test Paper and also satisfy the Minimum Educational Qualifications (MEQs) and Eligibility Requirements (ERs) of the respective Academic Program. Candidate should at least score 55% aggregate marks for General/OBC category candidates and at least 50% aggregate marks for SC, ST and PD category candidates in the qualifying degree. Important dates: Exam Date: 12th Feb, 2017 Online Registration Date: 1st September, 2016 Closing Date for Registration: 6th October, 2016 Format The JAM Examination is conducted online and in English only. There are seven papers (objective questions) on the following subjects: Biological Sciences (BL) Biotechnology (BT) Chemistry (CY) Geology (GG) Mathematics (MA) Mathematical Statistics (MS) Physics (PH) Each paper is divided into three sections, consisting of 30 multiple-choice questions, 10 multiple-select questions and 20 numerical-answer questions. The duration of the exam is 3 hours. |
