IIT JAM important dates

Hello!!!! I want to apply for the IIT JAM exam so please tell me the important dates to apply for this exam?

Joint Admission Test for (JAM) is a national-level examination for admission to m.Sc and Integrated PhD Degree Programmes at the IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology) and IISc Bangalore

The last date to apply for this exam has gone it was 10th October 2015 but the exam will held in the month of Feb 2016

Important Dates for IIT JAM 2016
Online registration and application process will start
2nd September 2015

Last date of fee payment through challan
10th October 2015

Closure of the online application process
14th October 2015

Availability of Admit Cards
31 December 2015 - 6 February 2016

Exam Date of JAM 2016
7th February 2016

Date of result announcement
23rd March 2016

Eligibility
Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree with at least 55% aggregate marks for General/OBC-NCL Category Candidates and at least 50% aggregate marks for SC/ST and PwD Category

JAM 2016 Application Fee:-
Group/ Category One Test Paper Two Test Papers
Female (All Categories)/SC/ST/PwD Rs 750/- Rs 1050/-
All Others Rs 1500/- Rs 2100/-

Exam pattern: JAM IIT
IIT JAM comprises eight subjects:
Mathematical Statistics
Mathematics
Chemistry
Geophysics
Geology
Physics
Biotechnology
Computer Applications

Candidate can opt to appear for either one or two of the above mentioned papers.

While Biotechnology and Computer Applications are objective in nature, the other subjects are descriptive in nature.

The objective papers comprise 100 questions and 100 marks one mark for each question.

1/3rd deducted for every wrong answer.

The descriptive papers are divided into two parts Part I and Part II
Part I comprises 60 percent marks and contains one-mark and two-mark multiple choice questions.

Part II comprises of 40 percent marks and is subjective in nature.
There is no negative marking in this section.
