As you want to get the details of eligibility criteria and the syllabus to get admission in M.Sc Chemistry in Indian Institute of Technology Indore so here is the information of the same for you:

Qualifying Degree:

Candidates must have passed graduation with Chemistry as a subject for three years/six semesters and should have passed Mathematics at (10+2) level.

Candidates will have give JAM (Joint Admission Test for M.Sc.) qualification in Chemistry.

Eligibility:

Candidates must have passed with minimum of 60 % marks for GEN/OBC (55% for SC/ST) category in aggregate or as specified by the university/institute in the qualifying degree.

Candidates must also have scored a minimum CPI of 6.0 for GEN/OBC (5.5 for SC/ST) category on the scale of 10; with corresponding proportional requirements when the scales are other than on 10 (for example 4.8 for GEN/OBC category (4.4 for SC/ST) on a scale of 8.

Duration of the Program:
Two years full-time.

Semester 1
:
Quantum Mechanics and Group Theory
Structural Organic Chemistry
Synthetic and Mechanistic Aspects of Organic Chemistry
Advanced Topics in Inorganic Chemistry
Modern Techniques in Inorganic Chemistry

Additional course (as per the requirement basis):
English Communication Skills

Semester 2:

Thermodynamics, Kinetics, Electrochemistry
Molecular Spectroscopy
Total Synthesis and Natural Products Chemistry
Applied Inorganic and Nuclear Chemistry
PG Seminar Course
Advanced Chemistry Lab

Semester 3:

M.Sc. Research Project (Stage-I)

Semester 4:

M.Sc. Research Project (Stage-II)
