Eligibility of phd of EEE department:

Candidates with BE/BTech with following specialization:
Electrical/Electronics and Communication Engineering

Any other related branch of Engineering
Candidates with ME/MTech with following specialization:
Electrical/Electronics and Communication Engineering

Any other related branch of Engineering
Candidates with a valid GATE score in the following: EC
GATE paper

Selection process:
Candidates called for selection should choose one of the four groups for consideration

Selection is a two-stage process:
Written test (see syllabus in following slides)
Candidates selected after the written test will have to appear for a technical interview

Final selection is based on performance in the interview

Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad is a type of public educational institution.
It was established in the year 2008.
It is located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
Its permanent campus is situated at Kandi near Sangareddy and is close to the Outer Ring Road (Hyderabad).
The campus is located on NH-9 and is also near to Outer Ring Road (Hyderabad). The institute moved most of the operations to the permanent campus in July 2015.
The academic blocks are newly reconditioned buildings of Sarath Vikas School Campus. Facilities include hostels, classrooms, offices, recreation, sports and medical facilities.
There is a small market outside the ODF campus to cater to the needs of students
Department of Electrical Engineering has a 15+ faculty, 3+ staff and 300+ student strong department. It is the oldest department in IIT-H.
