IIT DELHI FTP Server

I am a student of IIT Delhi under some of the best mentioned course and I want some information regarding the FTP server to get my WIFI connection E-mail and password. So regarding this provides me with the person in charge of this department and the contact details.

I am student of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi and from here doing engineering degree searching for server details. Will you please provide me details about IIT DELHI FTP Server along with command syntax also tell list of hostels available in this institute?

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi is a public engineering institution located in Hauz Khas, Delhi, India.

FTP server details:

ftp server will not be available on ssh1.iitd.ernet.in, please use scp instead.

The command syntax is ``scp user1@somewhere.com:/path/sourcefile user2@somewhereelse.com:/path/destinationfile'' or ``scp /path/sourcefile user2@somewhereelse.com:/path/destinationfile'' or ``scp user1@somewhere.com:/path/file /path/destinationfile''. Windows users can download Pscp or WinScp which are GUI based.
