The syllabus for B Tech CSE (Computer Science Engineering) Program offered by IITB (Indian Institute of Technology Bombay) is as follows: B. Tech Programme Semester 1 Title of the Course CS 101- Introduction to Computer Programming Course content (separate sheet may be used, if necessary) An introduction to problem solving with computers using a modern language such as Java or C/C++ Introduction to Unix environment and tools Programming features: Machine representation, primitive types, arrays and records, objects, expressions, control statements, iteration, procedures, functions, and basic I/O, recursion, pointers.
