Indian Institute of Science Entrance to Integrated Ph.D. Programs is through the IIT JAM Entrance Exam followed by an interview at IISc.

The Ph.D programmes are offered in:

Eligibility Criteria :

(a) Applicants must have obtained a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field of Engineering/Technology;

or

Applicants must have obtained a Master's degree in Science in an appropriate field; or

Applicants must have obtained a Bachelor's degree in Science (with Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry as subjects of study) followed by AMIE, AMIIChE, Grad.IETE etc.

(b) Applicants must have obtained a Master's degree in Engineering/Technology in an appropriate field.
