IIPM UGC Recognition

Is IIPM is recognition by University Grants Commission or not?

Indian Institute of Planning and Management (IIPM) is a business school headquartered in New Delhi, with 18 branches across India. Founded in 1973.

University Grants Commission (India)(UGC) had, prior to a court settlement in June 2008, said that IIPM was not authorised to operate as a university in India.

The Founding Director of IIPM is Dr. M. K. Chaudhuri, and the Honorary Dean is Arindam Chaudhuri

The certifications offered directly by IIPM are not accredited by AICTE. According to IIPM, its courses do not come under the purview of AIU, AICTE, UGC and similar government-established regulatory bodies.

Is Indian Institute of Planning and Management recognized by UGC or not, please provide here IIPM reorganization criteria & also give information about that degree from IIPM valid for government job or other PG studies???
