Admission process of IIM Raipur for PGP course admission consists of:

CAT Examination

Short listing Candidates for Personal Appearance (PA) process

Conducting the PA process. PA process is composed of Written Analysis (WA) and Personal

Interview (PI)

Preparing the admission list based on CAT score, PI & WA score and Profile score .

Criteria for Short listing for PA (WAT) process:

CAT percentile will be used for shortlisting candidates for WAT and PI.




Criteria for Preparing the Merit List :
CAT Score : 40 %
Personal Appearance (PI & WA) : 40%
Profile : 20%

IIM Raipur is the 12th IIM which has announced every year the admission criteria for PGP. IIM Raipur admission will be based on 2 steps short listing on the basis of CAT performance followed by Common Admission Process (CAP) rounds including WAT and PI.

IIM Raipur Criteria:

Category Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation (QA & DI)
Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning (VA & LR)
Total (Overall)

General 80 80 90

NC-OBC 72 72 81

SC 60 60 75

ST 50 50 65

DAP 55 55 70

Apart from the General and NC-OBC category, the cutoffs of the other categories have been increased.

IIM Raipur Criteria:

The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of CAT score, WAT & PI and Profile. The weights of the categories are:

CAT Score: 32%
Personal Appearance (WAT & PI): 30%
Profile: 38%

Following weights will be assigned to the WAT and PI rounds:

PI Score: 20

The following parameters will be considered for Profiling:
Academic Profile: 20
Work Experience: 6
Diversity: 12
