IIM Evaluation Criteria

Hi I want to study in the Indian Institutes of Management IIM so can you please tell me that what is the evaluation or selection criteria so I can have an idea???

Well the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) are a group of 20 public, autonomous institutes of management education and research in India.

The evaluation is done by the following way for the IIMS

1. Eligibility Criteria

2. CAT exam scores

3. Interview

IIM Eligibility Criteria


Undergraduate degree or higher with a minimum of three years at a university and any
major, with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent GPA.

A valid Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) score (including AWA score)

Complete Admission application, including Statement of Purpose and three letters of reference

Important Deadlines

Submission of online applications: December 2016 - February 2017

Interview call letters: February 2nd week, 2017

Interviews (in person or through videoconference/teleconference): February - March 2017

Offer of Admission: April 2nd week, 2017
