My brother is preparing for MBA Entrance examination test for IIM Ahmedabad. I want to know about selection procedure and short list criteria for IIM Ahemdabad. Can you provide me information about this?

Indian Institute of Management Bangalore is a public business school located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

Founded in 1973, it was the third IIM to be established, after IIM Calcutta and IIM Ahmedabad


The admissions department of IIM Bangalore follows a well defined and detailed admission process. This process judges candidates on a number of parameters.

Admission Requirements for International Candidates

The minimum admission requirements are:Undergraduate degree or higher with a minimum of three years at a university and any major,

With a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent GPA.

A valid Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) score (including AWA score)

Complete Admission application, including Statement of Purpose and three letters of reference

International Candidates refer to candidates resident outside India, whether they are Indians / foreign nationals.


Important Dates

Submission of online applications: December 03, 2015 - February 01,2016

[Candidate should have appeared in GMAT on/before February 01, 2016 and the

GMAT score should be valid as on June 30, 2016.]

Interview call letters: February 2nd week, 2016

Interviews (in person or through videoconference/teleconference): February - March 2016
