Scholarships /fee waiver offered :

Family Income Linked Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme:

Students entering the postgraduate programs (PGP and PGP-ABM) whose total family income does not
exceed Rs.6 lacs in the last financial year are eligible for the fee waiver scheme.

A complete waiver of non-tuition fee is awarded to those students whose total family income in a financial is below or equal to Rs. 1 Lakh.

IIMA Special Scholarships (need-based):

Students entering the postgraduate programs (PGP and PGP-ABM) whose gross annual family incomes did not
exceed Rs. 2,00,000 during the last financial year are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

SC/ST Scholarships: SC/ST students in the postgraduate programs are awarded Rs.150 per month for 10 months.


GOI Merit-cum-Means Scholarships:
The Government of India Merit-cum-Means (MCM) scholarships, given both in the first and second year.
Value of each scholarship is Rs. 2,200 per annum.

The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad is a public business school located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

It was the second Indian Institute of Management to be established, after IIM Calcutta

IIM Ahmedabad Fee Waiver scheme

IIMA Special Scholarships (need-based):

All students entering the postgraduate programs (PGP and PGP-ABM) whose gross annual family incomes did not exceed Rs. 2,00,000 during the last financial year are eligible to apply for scholarships


Industry Scholarships (need-based):

These scholarships may be awarded to needy students who are ineligible to apply for the IIMA special scholarships.

SC/ST Scholarships:

All SC/ST students in the postgraduate programs are awarded
Rs.150 per month for 10 months.

In addition all the students whose annual family income was less than 1 lac was also
granted waiver of non- tuition fee.


GOI Merit-cum-Means Scholarships:

The Government of India Merit-cum-Means (MCM) scholarships, given both in the first and second year, are awarded to a maximum of 25% of students

. The value of each scholarship is Rs. 2,200 per annum.


Aditya Birla Group Scholarships:

These scholarships (about three each to PGP Iand II) are awarded by the ABG.

The selection is done entirely by the ABG, and isbased on merit. The amount awarded is about Rs.1.25 lakhs per student per year.

OP Jindal Engineering and Management Scholars:

These scholarships (one eachto PGP I and PGP II) are awarded by OP Jindal Group.

The selection is made based on the academic performance.

Ocwen Scholarship for Competence in Academics:-

The scholarship is institutedby Ocwen Financial Solutations Pvt. Ltd. It is awarded to a first year student.

The final selection is done through a research paper and personal interview.


ONGC SC/ST Merit cum Means Scholarships: -

Instituted by the ONGC,scholarships are awarded to the selected SC/ST candidates yearly to the eligible 1st year students of the institute.

Other Scholarships facilitated by the IIMA include scholarships awarded by various
state governments to students from their states.
