IIIT European Summer School programme is designed only for European undergraduate and graduate students who are majoring in Islamic studies, humanities or the social sciences? This program is not for students from other countries?

IIIT European Summer School 2017 "Islam in Europe: Challenges of Pluralism" organised by International Institute of Islamic Thought from 7 21 August 2017. The programme was designed for European graduate students majoring in Islamic studies, humanities or social sciences and who is interested in developing the knowledge and expertise in the topics listed here. The programme was also provided an opportunity for participants to present and discuss their particular research in workshops. During the course of the programme, participants completed a total of 80 hours of direct research and instruction and received a certificate of attendance from the organisers. The participants gained 5 ECTS for the program from the Faculty of Islamic Studies in Sarajevo. In addition to Sarajevo, participants visited Mostar and Srebrenica. Food and accommodation for participants were covered by the organizers. There were a limited number of scholarships available to cover travel expenses for the students who could not found funding from other sources. Students had their own health insurance coverage.
