Can you tell me which is better between IIIT (Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology), Delhi and JMI (Jamia Millia Islamia), Delhi?

I find IIIT (Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology), Delhi and JMI (Jamia Millia Islamia), Delhi both are among the top institutes in India.

IIIT Delhi

Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi is an autonomous university in Delhi, India. It is a research-oriented university with a focus on Computer Science and Electronics.

Its mission is to be a global centre of excellence in Information Technology education, training and research. Its twin aims are:
To carry out advanced research and development in information and software technologies, and in leveraging IT in specific domain areas.
To train and educate, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, engineers of outstanding ability who can become innovators and new product creators.

Ranking
Internationally, IIIT-Delhi was ranked 181 to 190 among universities in the BRICS nations by the QS World University Rankings of 2018.

In India, IIIT-Delhi was ranked 66 among engineering institutes by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2018 and 60 by Outlook India in 2017.

Jamia Millia Islamia

Jamia Millia Islamia is a public central university in Delhi established during British rule in 1920. It became a Central University by an act of the Indian Parliament in 1988.

Ranking

Jamia Millia Islamia was ranked 801-1000 in the world by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings of 2018 and 201-250 in Asia.

The QS World University Rankings of 2018 ranked it 200 in Asia. It was ranked 19 in India overall by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2018, 12 among universities, 32 in the engineering ranking and 34 in the management ranking.

The Faculty of Law was ranked sixth in India by Outlook India's "Top 25 Law Colleges in 2017" and 20th in India by The Week's "Top Law Colleges 2017".
